Lysondor

Lysondor was obsessed with death, and dying. He tried desperately to find knowledge of what comes after, through religion and stories and eventually dark magic. He craved death so badly that he became victim to a powerful and unbreakable curse after making a deal with someone who promised the truth. He could see into death, but only a little, to the gates or the passing, and those in between, for the cost of never being able to see the life around him again. Lysondor had originally traveled to Wystlanthia to meet with Kasumi, in hopes that she could cure his blindness. Kasumi realized that removing the curse would not only mean severing Lysondors connection to the afterlife forever, but killing him completely. Instead, she and others helped him navigate his new world. He was able to share his knowledge, and ended up providing much needed spiritual services to Wystlanthia. Now, he performs death ceremonies for those who have passed, and helps guide them into the afterlife.
