Biography

The Plagued Bard

A bard among Necromancers, Feversong invokes plague through song, singing airborne diseases in a melodic miasma. Just as easily, he can recall the fever he carries with a crescendo of song, making him a true Necromancer. Easily mistaken for a Wind dragon, despite being Plague.

The Trial of Infection

The young Mirror made his way to the putrid edge of the Rotrock Rim. The trip had been grueling, but having been born in the Abiding Boneyard, he was used to the parched wastes, and the result would be well worth it. Finding himself a nice perch overlooking the Wyrmwound, he began to meditate. In the long days of solitude, he found himself singing hymns to his goddess to pass the time. After a week of meditation, the first signs of infection arrived, in the form of a hoarse voice and sharp coughs.

The Trial of Survival

The fever felt like fire, his throat was a desert. But still, he sang. Sang with every hoarse breath of this sickness. He sang to his goddess, praises and hymns, great battle songs and sweet lullabies alike. No matter what song praised his deity, he would sing them all. His wings ached and bled, his hide oozed with blood and burst boils, scales slick with fluid. After a week of sickness and song, the plague seemed to have abated, and he sang to his fullest the Plaguebringer's praises.

The Trial of Contagion

Down from the Rim, he took his final trial. His songs had gathered a small crowd of other Necromancers, who had brought a subject for his final trial with them. With voice alone, he brought his plague to the subject, the sickness swelling with the crescendo of the song. Bringing his hymn to a close, he recalled the plague with the final notes, passing the Trial and marking him a true Necromancer. Having found a passion in song, he took his name, Feversong, to commemorate his victory over the Trials.
