Few of the fierce warriors scattered across Sornieth can hold a candle to Karnak’s powerful strategies and strength. You see, while most physical warriors focus on just their ability to fight with tooth and claw, and often even shun mages, Karnak has worked extremely hard to harness the power of both. And part of the reason he has such strong and literally fiery power is partly due to how connected he is to the Fire Flight.

Though he may not live there anymore, Karnak was a long-time resident of the Ashfall Waste. And during his time in the fiery domain of the Flamecaller, he studied hard to learn the ways of a fire-using mage. But eventually he moved away, to the Scarred Wastelands, where training became much more difficult for him. So he moved over to physical training, without fully stopping his magical studies.

This is why Karnak is such a dangerous dragon- not only is his temper never really good (indifferent and angry seem to be his two emotions), but he can also spout powerful ranged magic attacks and then rip and slash at opponents up close.
