Biography

The mines were cool, you could say but that was expected when you were so far below ground. It was nothing like her previous experiences in the hot, sweltering heat underground in the caves of The Fire Nation™ though it was a welcome one. The Nature Flight was kind in her arrival and accepted her with no troubles.
She had always been brave, steadfast and strong willed and one day maybe that's what led her to the sudden drop of the earth in the mines below.

It was an undiscovered region, one that she’d never seen before. The trench was large and incredibly wide and deep. Down into the pit she stared, transfixed on the small specks of light that wavered there.
She gingerly blew a gentle flame and the warm light that filled the current cave she was in reflected into the pit and rippled. It seemed like there was water.
There was a splash and a flurry of movement, as if whatever that was down there was surprised by the sudden light, it soon swam away.

Now she was curious. She removed most of her mining gear and slowly advanced down the pit, the hole was quite steep and it seemed mostly like water down there but she wouldn’t know if she didn’t try.
The long journey down was over now, it had taken her quite a while to finally reach the water and she cautiously swam in the surprisingly unstale water filled with common cash fishes and small creatures, nothing dangerous yet.

Past what seemed to be an underground lake of some sort ended with a cave system, larger than she thought it would be. Light shone down through small gaps in the stone roof as bioluminescent creatures flourished on the walls of the caves. Dim glowing flora that she could not name grew on most of what wasn't the lake and the ground felt lush and mossy.
Though it wasn't uncommon to find underground caves filled with flora. It was the first one to take her breath away.
The cave was simply expansive, many new cave dwelling species she’d never seen in the Fire Nation™️ were there and the vibrancy of some of the flora who reached light surprised her.
“It’s beautiful isn’t it.”
