Tobin

Tobin can be found skulking around festivals, giving out balloons, running stalls, and giving any nearby adults the heebie-jeebies. There's something off about that kid, they say. His too-wide smile, the stealth insults he slips into small talk as they make their purchases, the mischievous glint in his half-lidded eyes... He's a bit of a prankster as well, and it seems like everyone suspects Tobin when something goes wrong.

Surprisingly, kids adore him. He's much more mellow and sweet around hatchlings, and many look up to him as a cool older brother-type figure. While the townsfolk blame him for mishaps, Tobin ain't that bad. He's got a few things to hide, sure, but who doesn't these days? His pal, Plume, says he could be more friendly, but Tobin doesn't wanna be fake, all false-smiles and whispered judgement like the gossipy townsfolk who snub him. He's got his own style, that's all.
