Quiet and reserved, Bruna's job is to keep all of the creatures not bonded to individual dragons in line which can be a difficult task as the numbers grow. There is little that the animals can do to faze her, though - she is far more comfortable with them than with other dragons.

While she can be nervous around her clanmates, she is more than confident when it comes to wrangling an unruly chimera or the large pack of Psywurms that have become unofficial mascots of the clan. She raised her peacock firebird from an egg and the brilliant bird often assists her in calming down animals or keeping tabs on the mischievous ones. Though she tries not to show it, Bruna is completely aware of Semaphore’s romantic interest in her. She is flattered by the attention that Semaphore gives her, but unsure about how to respond even if she isn’t exactly adverse to the advances.

Bruna was the instigator of the event that forced the clan to relocate and made Namalki lose her Charge. A hatchling of hers - which many presume to have been fathered by Constantin, though neither have ever confirmed - was born deformed and was unable to breathe on its own, so Bruna came to Namalki in desperation and asked for her to try anything to save the infant. As a result, she feels a lot of guilt for both the trauma that occurred to the Guardian and the destruction of the clan's previous life.
