For as long as he could remember, Kepler had always loved the night sky. As a dragonling, he visited the observatory. He was so curious and excited that the Arcanist himself blessed him, and got to look at the universe through a different lens.

"I get to play a part in stitching together the story of the universe, a story that has been built chapter by chapter for a very long time. The telescopes I get to use are some of the largest, most beautiful, most impressive feats of human engineering. I get to share my career with everyone because by understanding what is out there, we understand what is down here. And that is what makes astronomy beautiful. To study something — not because we’re looking to gain anything in particular, but out of sheer curiosity."

With his multi-gaze, he could easily keep track of lots of experiments and multitasking though. It makes him an absolute wizard of a scientist as he works on lots of projects and studies.

Perhaps he's chasing a particularly interesting study of a star cluster in the far reaches of the galaxy, and he's convinced there's life there, but he can't really prove it. He's trying to figure out how to gather better information, and he's considering asking Archanist himself to try and reach out with his magic, even though it might drain him completely. How would you convince a deity to do such a thing, and would it be worth it?
