Biography

Hey there Ima, my radioactive friend. Please hold this Clan Lore Questionnaire.

1. What Flight is your clan?
-Wind! Though and through.

2. Why did they choose this Flight?
-The Wind chooses you, you do not choose the wind. Travel, freedom, art and song have always called to them, in some form.

3. Have they been loyal to other Flights before this? Or will they never move?
-To settle down roots in another Flight would, itself, be only transitory. Thusly their heart will always belong to the endless, borderless sky.

4. What would be the deciding factor in a move, if the clan had to?
-If the road became too dangerous to raise hatchlings, they would go wherever they had to, to keep them safe.

5. Is the clan spiritual and highly loyal to their deity? Are they indifferent?
-By their wandering, their songs and their love for their children they praise The Windsinger daily in some form. The hatchlings are taught that to Exalt to His ranks is the highest of honours

6. How does the clan view those from different Flights? Are they welcoming to all dragons, or suspicious of newcomers?
-The Matriarch, Slatemoss, considers all dragons as fellow Mirrors, free to join the pack for as long as they please. No Flight is except from this welcome and all their crafts and stories are enjoyed. The Patriarch, Jadesong, has something kind to say about every Flight. Although he thinks of Ridgebacks as impolite for their borrowing, he doesn't hold a grudge.

7. What does your lair look like? Go into detail.
-A series of slightly ramshackle caravans, bouncing along the road as the wind whistles though pinwheels and wind-bells. Constructed mostly out of bamboo but patched and upgraded with whatever is around at the time. Sometimes they break down and are patchworked together. Strings of festive paper lanterns and wildly waving flags are strung up along them and between them. Under each roof is a large balloon, or a series of smaller ones, used by Wind and Arcane element Dragons to ford rivers and cross difficult terrain.

8. Who founded the clan?
-Slatemoss (Custom Progen). Pieces of her first wagon live on in bits and pieces of the others.

9. Who is your clan leader? Why are they the leader? Have there been any leadership changes?
-Jadesong (Random Progen). He has the roguish charm and sweet heart that inspires others to follow him. He slowly, naturally took over from Slatemoss. Although she still manages many details, his is the face of The Caravan.

10. Was the leader chosen? Were they elected? An heir to the throne? Or maybe they achieved something within the clan?
-He is the leader because people give him the love and respect a leader needs to lead, and because he gives it to them in turn. His voice is the first to lift in song during good times and bad, his clanmates follow and their spirits are bolstered.

11. Who handles interclan relations? Any diplomats? Peacekeepers?
-The Matriarch is everyone's stern mother. Her rasp of disapproval is sometimes all it takes to separate her arguing children. However, she prefers to watch and let the sparks freely fly where they will, sender her gentler family members to douse the resulting -sometimes literal- fires. If stricter measures need to be taken then the Gaoler mates, Nightspectre and Snowspirit, will drag the offenders to their own sturdy caravan for "timeout."

12. How does your clan view the Beastclans? Who handles Beastclan relations?
-Beastclans are other, too different for Slatemoss to perceive as fellow Mirrors. She views them with discomfort and advises caution to her clan. Jadesong disagrees. They sing, eat and love, so they're dragon enough to him. The Caravan frequently barters with friendly Beastclans and a few individuals have begun sharing wagons with willing clan-members.

13. Does your clan have specific roles for each dragon?
-Yes. Since clan-members are free to take their wagon and leave whenever they like
