Meilee

No one knows how an Ice egg ended up in the Plague territory, but it did and from it hatched Meilee. Lost and alone, Meilee wandered through the Scarred wastelands. Even though he occasionally came across groups of dragons, the kindest act from those strangers were giving him a frog leg and telling him to go as far away as possible, so they "wouldn't have to see him die."

It didn't take him long to realize that to survive, he needed to hunt. He ate anything that he could find, diseased or not. He didn't have much of a choice. He never had food to save for the next day, but when he came across another, younger hatchling he knew he couldn't just leave aer to die. Claiming ae as his sibling, he took ae to hunt with him, but they quickly realized that ae wasn't the fighting type. With the weight of providing food for two dragons on his shoulders, Meilee decided that he needed to more than just hunt for food. So, he joined a place called simply "the pit" He would fight for others' entertainment, and if he won, he'd get his share of the food and money.

He knew that Strike hated the place, but he didn't. He was already strong and knew how to fight more or less - that meant more wins and more food. Finally eating until both their bellies were full sure felt good. So good that he'd claim that he wouldn't feel pain when his sibling tended to his wounds at night.

He'd always hear about the corruption and cheating in the pit, but he was never involved. He'd go in, fight fair and go out. But of course, just because he didn't participate in the cheating, didn't mean the cheaters wouldn't bite him in the a-

That's how he ended up skull cracked, body torn to shred, one eye gone. His opponent had an axe in what was supposed to be a "claws & teeth only" match. His body was thrown out the door and he laid there, dead, until Serpentstrike came looking for him. Ae quite literally stitched him back to life, and banned him from ever going back to the pit on the spot. Not being in a state to object, Meilee followed Strike out of the scarred wastelands without question.

He loves cracking jokes - just axe him about it! - he wouldn't turn his back on a dragon in need, but he's not the type to go out and socialize on his own. He's extremely protective of his sibling, and leaves decision-making mostly to Strike. While not overly aggressive, he won't back down from a fight, especially if there's an audience. He likes to pretend that his death had no impact on his fighting capabilities, and he jumps at every opportunity to prove himself.

Sadly, after his resurrection he's no longer capable of ice magic, and he doesn't know how to use any weapons specifically, mostly fights with his claws and his teeth. With that said, he has a very strong jaw and can bite off quite a chunk in a fight. One of his eyes is missing, hence the eyepatch he has on. Still, he can see "just fine" with the one eye he has on his right side. He stumbles and walks into things a lot since The Incident. He carries around a cane to hep him reach stuff or balance himself when needed - and also for dramatic effect. He tends to get side-tracked or forget about things, then he jokes about being "scatter-brained". He now has a notebook that he takes notes in to help him remember stuff.
