- As an accomplished warlock, Vice is capable of performing most forms of magic, albeit he personally prefers working in the realms of enchanting, spell-making, and summoning.
- Contrary to what the rumors may say about him, Vice is not a malevolent mage—just as he dabbles in magic that many would consider "dark," so too does he dabble in magic that many would consider "light." This is because Vice does not believe in the concepts of "dark" and "light" in relation to the arcane, but rather in the idea that all forms of magic are neutral until affected by one's own moral alignment. In other words, "magic is only as good or as evil as you make it." As such, though his unsentimental nature and corrupted feathery appearance hardly does him any favors, those that know him best know that the rumors are not to be believed. Vice is a true-neutral practitioner of the arcane arts, through and through.
- His familiar, Odyssey, is his loyal servant and companion. The warlock eagerly formed an eternal contract with the powerful star-bound creature after it was summoned by him many years ago. As an Enchanted Libra, the starry wolfish beast is able to amplify the effects of any enchantment that Vice creates, making his enchanted weapons, armor, and more all the more valuable to his wizardly clientele.
