Biography
Wilbur makes for an excellent dock worker since he can move the sand at the river bed and make place for arriving ships, being able to bend the ground around the hull. The river is really not that deep. He used to help smaller ships and rafts land on the beach but since they built several new landings for the marina that has become unnecessary.

Since the docks aren't all that big and are often completely occupied by bigger ships, smaller ships land on the beach. Wilbur helps those smaller ships land on the beach and leave again, really fast business if you can bend the sand to move even heavy vessels without needing a whole crew.
