Krampus

Born on the darkest night, the winter solstice of the unluckiest year, a hatchling with pitch black scales and deep red eyes found himself peering around into the fading memories of days past. A kind passing dragon tribe found the shadeling, squirming and new. They saw him, and knew he was in need of a comforting home where he would feel loved. Lilith, the scavenging mistress of clan Putrefaction, saw that he was in need and offered her small open claw to the newborn. He would be well at home with her, and when old enough, he would join the Queen Winnowill within the depths of the lair's sacred halls.
