Thalia
The Head of the Guard

Thalia is the most skilled battler in the Clan. Despite looking tough she's actually a very friendly and social dragon. If asked she will gladly teach any clan member how to fight, as she believes that at least being able to defend oneself is an important skill to have. She used to have a close relationship with a clan member named Nora before she left to serve the Earthshaker. She tries to keep an eye on Fio in Nora's absence. When not honing her skills in the coliseum, Thalia can often be found playing with her Hainu.

Training a Hainu is an impossible task, as every dragon with good sense knows. Thalia does not attempt training her canine companions. She treats them with the respect their species deserves and they in turn respect her as a superior. Learning how they behave, how to "speak" their language, and how to properly interact with them has allowed her at least to encourage more favorable mannerisms in her charges. Plenty of animal-loving dragons in the clan get a little envious of her fluffy entourage. Thalia is more than happy to help a clanmmate through the process of bonding with a Hainu if they are willing to put in the effort. The more wild ones she attempts to tame and socialize herself before letting them bond with another dragon who wants one.

Thalia works very hard leading the clan's guard. She can be tough on them but only because she knows they can take it. Everyone who's joined the guard loves training under Thalia. A lot of dragons really look up to her. She's one of Bec's most trusted, and when she can she helps advise him. A more recent discovery is that she is a bit of a partier. Thalia loves her some good drinks and good company. She keeps it in responsible limits though. She has all these dragons counting on her, after all.

Thalia did not know that she was getting into when she adopted Susie. She was simply fascinated by the Hainu's color mutation and the boldness she presented herself with. Susie quickly displayed the she had quite a temper and was not afraid to stand up to Thalia. Thalia has so far taken the dog's defiance in stride. She likes a challenge.
Susie took a liking to an old black collar she found sitting in the clan's hoard. She somehow managed to get into it by herself and has been wearing the thing ever since. Whenever Thalia questions it the Hainu gives her a scowl as if to say she is wearing the collar on her terms, thank you very much. Thalia thinks its cute how proud Susie is of her personal possession, and it does make her look a little tough.
