Born in the Sunbeam Ruins, he always had a fascination for the starry sky, despite the encouragements of his kin to study the mysterious ruins of their land. He felt a strong connection to the stars, as if they were calling him. He was wary that if he shared his deepest desire to read the stars -their omens, their ancient wisdom, their prophecy- to his kin, he would be ridiculed for believing the sky has such knowledge. He studied the night sky in secret, searching for written knowledge or artifacts that could answer his
inexhaustible quest for answers even in other regions, always carefull not to be discovered in ennemy land.
One place seemed to catch his attention and quench his thirst for knoledge: the Sea of aThousand Currents.
There, the stars seems to have a purpose, their reflexion on the still or trouble water seemed to speak to him. He often sneaked there at night, hoping to learn someting new every visit.

It was Margrave who founded Daydreamer at the end of an hunting day, at twilight, a bit before the Great Falling Stars Season. The young dragon seemed to have fallen asleep in the midle of somethings, as he was surrounded by many parchments and astronomical instruments, his head coiled on a stack of old books.
Her first instinct would have been to chase him of her land, but she could smell he was alone with his material, wich did not suggest a confronting presence. As she was about to wake him, she felt a familiar tingling sensation, precursor to a vision. She lifted her chin up to the sky to see a big falling star, similar to a burning lightball, soaring throught the sky. At the exact same time, Daydreamer instently awoke in shock to see the the stellar phenomenon.
Suddendly, he was transported like in a dream, his feets seemed to lift of the ground effortless. He was among the stars, hearing them whispering their ancient wisdom and visions of the future. He was overwhelmed with what he was seeing and earing and he thought his head would burst out from too much knowledge. He felt himself becoming one with the celestial entities, stars starting to sprouts all over his body. He sudendly felt like someone was pulling him back to the ground and blackness started to englug him, like a pebble sinking into the sea.

When he woke, he was lying down at the paws of a massive blue Guardian dragon, who was looking at him with kindness and understanding. She knew. She understood what he saw and heard, her blue gaze was deep as the starry sky. She held out one of her clawed front paws before him, inviting him to join her clan. Daydreamer felt like a different dragon, filled with ancient wisdom. He bowed his head, knowing he was in the presence of an important Matriarch, then held out his paw toward her to accept. He gasped in shock when he saw that his skin was now shining with what seemed to be little stars, permanent marks of his celestial journey.

He is still the same curious, intelligent dragon he was when he left the Sunbeam Ruins when, that one twilight he wake up to a vision in the land of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Only, he is now filled with immeasurable wisdom, ancient knowledge and crystal clairvoyance, which he puts in good use by helping Margrave leading the clan and interpreting visions and omens.
