Turso

Scavenger, digger, self-proclaimed pirate captain.
Turso is an adventurous dragon who has managed to gather a band of like-minded individuals around himself, and is now a self-proclaimed pirate captain! His crew is small and lacks all kinds of things like a ship and such, but they make that up with adventurous spirit.

Turso is an impulsive, energetic and enthusiastic dragon with a true adventurer’s spirit and passion. He’s a hopeless optimist, and it’s hard to bring him down, even in dire situations. Most would say he’s just a clueless idiot, though, but that doesn’t bother him. He wants to travel all around Sornieth, searching for lost treasure, mysterious artefacts and great adventures! And that’s exactly what he does with his ragtag pirate crew. Maybe one day they will be actual pirates with a ship and everything that you can actually take seriously. Not that anyone’s critique would bother them, though.
Turso is a bit silly and carefree, but he does take care of his crew and friends, and takes full responsibility on them. If you’ve managed to stand his ridiculous shenanigans for long enough to actually call yourself his friend, he’s fiercely loyal to you and will do anything for you. Even lose an eye. Though he’d rather sacrifice some other organ, seeing how he’s already one-eyed…
Turso has extremely minor magic talent, but his talent is a pretty handy one – he’s able to tell directions perfectly, no matter where he is. Pretty useful for someone who spends most of his time adventuring around, looking for riches and wonders.

Turso’s spouse is Nyx. It’s quite a surprise they’ve become so close, considering how different they are, but Turso adores Nyx, and he’s the only goofy dragon she seems to tolerate on a regular basis. Turso is a hopeless romantic and showers Nyx with affection whenever she lets him. The two even have a couple of children, most notably a son who lives in an allying clan, and another son who lived in Mustamaa for a while before going to serve the Earthshaker.

Turso has bonded with a Jawlocker. He was quite surprised when he first met the chest he was unable to open, and discovered it was in fact a living creature! How wonderful, and even better treasure than some gold would’ve been! The Jawlocker is – more or less officially – the pirate crew’s mascot.
