Starseeker Reader|Writer|Seer Novacine had always wanted to come to Sornieth. She thought that Atlasian was boring, until the day that she got her wish- and it became clear that it was not what she’d wanted. Now she was stuck here forever, with no access to her old home or her ancestors. Things took a slight turn when she became apprenticed to Starshaker, the clever sage of their new clan. She’d learned a lot about astronomy and science, but the best part of all is that she found out that she had magic- the power to see future events at times and the ability to speak prophecies. She became a seer, an excellent one, and helped the clan. Nova did not expect it when the prophecy overtook her; it was much like a tsunami, one that hit her hard and made words spill out of her mouth that she didn’t understand. It was confusing, overwhelming and overall a scary experience, and she didn’t want to do it again. But she knew she had to. So she persisted; she wrote down what she saw in her visions, collected information and wrote books for the clan until she was older. She longed for her prophecy to come true, to go back to the place she called home. Nova secretly blamed herself for not fulfilling the prophecy, incorrectly assuming that since she recited it she had to fulfill it. Then things took a turn for the worse. She broke her left back leg when she was helping the clan fend off an attack from another clan. When the healer told her that she could never use it again, she lost her will to help or do anything in the clan, until the queen of the clan, Queen Shadowstar, helped her and gave her a purpose. She continues her job and remains a close friend of Shadow’s, as a seer, an avid reader and writer, and at the Midnight Starbringer Festival, was awarded the title “Starseeker” for her perseverance. [*]Personality is quiet, kind and stubborn at times. She can come off as headstrong or infuriating. An introvert. [*]She has a mini library in her lair, full of her own hand-written books. |
