Sentry

She's one of the island's oldest residents, but you won't hear her sharing any stories about the things she's observed. Sen doesn't speak; she just watches. Watches for monsters, brawls, and crimes committed against those who live on the island. She doesn't seem to need food or sleep, but will accept small meals if they are offered to her. If one gets close, they will notice that her armor and her body are fused, even her helmet. It goes without saying that no one has ever seen her unmasked.

While her presence can be off putting to newcomers, the locals have long since gotten used to their silent guardian. For many, she's a comforting presence. When she's nearby, dragons can be sure they won't come to harm. Hatchlings enjoy crawling all over her, and she is gentle when she needs to continue her patrols, nudging them off into the arms of their parents. While she does not respond, many enjoy chatting to her about their day and worries, especially Sansa. The insomniac guard sees Sen as a kindred spirit despite their differences, and always checks in on her at the end of the day. The locals do not know her real name, but she responds to "Sentry," "Sen," "Guard," or "Hey, you!"

Ever since the death of the researcher girl, she's been unusually frantic. Sen patrols constantly, hardly ever pausing to take a break. Others theorize that she feels guilty for the preventable death of such a sweet dragon. Those responsible are certainly giving her a wide berth.
