prototype! always cool to see alex in someone’s lair, i ADORE all you did with him. that wraith and that multigaze? FABULOUS.

had to give a shoutout to alex, legally, as a MASSIVE prototype fan. wherever you got that skin, it's absolutely amazing! the colors fit great, and ive always imagined wraith would work for him as a banescale. great!!!

i wanted to try your challenge fandragons, but the only one i recognize is alex--but i love how you've done everything for him!! ignoring how well banescale just kinda fits, that accent is genuinely stellar! i didn't even realize the red highlights were part of the accent--it all blends together that well!

But look, you linked Alex and how did I miss this. Apparently you've had him for years? And I see you around IKTR plenty, but somehow? I just? Didn't????

I'm legally obligated to pick Prototype dragons when I see them, Alex Mercer owns the contents of my skull and they're rare enough to get me very excited, but this one's above and beyond the usual ken! I don't know where you got a copy of that custom - though I really hope that's not misinterpreted because I'm thrilled to see more of it out there! Final really knocked that one out of the park and I was so happy with how it turned out. And Banescales really do make great Alexes - pose comes in either Brooding (tm) or About To Eat You (tm), knives all over their bodies, genes add in even more sharp and menacing bits. I'm really digging these Ancient takes on Blacklight, because dang do those linebreaking terts go hard.

Obviously the jacket is pure fire and seeing it in FR is a hit of serotonin, but one of my favorite details in that accent is how it turns the horns into blades? It's that knife-edged, silver-and-black decal you get on his claws, blade, and various other cutty gribbly bits. (Alex has an Aesthetic, okay. He's very sensitive about it.) And the gene choice contains some fantastic nods to the game - the red-black Blacklight look is on point, but Metallic is perfect for his heavy, chitinous armor, and the Wraith? Apart from being ominous, landing the look, and layering unexpectedly great with the brighter red bits from the accent on the spines (almost looks like it's seeping from them), it immediately makes me think of those dark maroon trails you'd see whenever Alex started gliding around like hobo Superman.

i deeply, DEEPLY appreciate the banescales here, they don't get enough love.

that said, your alex RULES. wraith is SUCH a good gene on him, and his ACCENT, mmmmm it's so so good. everything about this dude is incredible.
