Pap is a writer, a poet- he believes that his work is inspiring and true art. He has an encouraging quill familiar named Inky. The two often bicker about something they've recently read or something they've recently overheard. They almost act like siblings. Pap dreams of one day that one of his stories will make it to the stage, his work one day being given life and to be seen all around. To be popular for his creations.

His dreams weren't the same when he was a child, however. Pap used to want to be the hero other dragons would write stories about. He worked hard to gain combat skills and even competed with other young dragons to show off said skills. But Pap, his parents, brother, and two sisters were all caught in a vicious storm- he was the only survivor. He was left with life-changing injuries, as he became paralyzed in both back legs. A kind inventor in his clan made him special spats that'd help him walk. They weren't perfect and would fail occasionally but they helped, even if he still couldn't walk on all four claws normally anymore. He mainly gets around by flying these days, which no one would even know of his handicap then either. So he usually walks at home when no one is around, as he tends to be a bit ashamed of his disability.
