Biography
Faurael lifted the paintbrush up at arms' length towards the other dragon. She had been commissioned by Prince Cosaru to paint a portrait of his closest friend, Grigsby. It was such a strange interaction; to be called in to the throne room where the irritated imperial towered over a strange Tundra dragon she had never seen before.
~*~
The kingdom had been built around the outermost corner of the Wind Flight where some other Flights met and it meant that visitors were not scarce or uncommon and with her past traveling experiences with Quoorin, there was little that phased her. She craned her neck to catch a glimpse of who the Prince was talking to and saw something she had never seen before. A traveler with a thousand unblinking eyes talked calmly and slowly to Cosaru as if explaining some simple equation.
Faurael crept closer to the two dragons
"What do you mean by that?" The grand imperial dragon turned away and paced around the tundra dragon, orange eyes never straying too far from the crimson dragon. "As nice as the offer sounds, there appears to be something else to be gained here for you."
The traveler chuckled and stood up, flaunting his many eyes as if to prove something. "My line of work can be truly useful to you and your kingdom, your highness." He spun around slowly one last time before sitting back down, relaxing his posture and shaking out his mane."
Prince Cosaru huffed and slammed his tail down on the ground, causing it to rumble under their feet. The calm mask the tundra had before cracked in fear before immediately scrambling to recover. The Prince seemed pleased, grinning finally and laying in front of the throne.
"Leetov, escort our guest to the Eastern quarters. I have an offer I will need to discuss with my advisor soon enough." The Prince watched as a scary looking dragon lead the traveler beyond the doors out of sight. Before Faurael could sneak away, a soft and low voice snuck up behind her.
"Didn't anyone tell you that it is rude to eavesdrop?" Grigsby smirked as the the small fae dragon tried to hide the fact that she was obviously spying. "Come on, quickly now before Cosaru catches you and lectures you again." The wildclaw laughed quietly and the fae did not hesitate to rush back to her studio.
The last lecture she had to sit through made her miss dinner but thankfully Quoorin had saved some food for her back in their room. Maybe she should take her bad habits into consideration....
