An offering from the Other.

One with knowledge of the Beyond. Of the Other. And everything that lay beyond.

Taught that they were a remnant, an egg taken from the wastelands of the Other, it proved simple enough to persuade the child led by a mysterious traveller that their home of flesh and bone was all that remained.



Contraire believes herself the second Nocturne of the Link. Her status as a remnant of the Outside has made her an ill fit for the lands of Locke, beyond her grasp. Despite seeing the world of the Nexus running smoothly, something doesn't seem correct -- her faint memories of the Beyond, a land of flesh and bone where death itself roamed, seemed to match with the Nexus' description of the Beyond, yet the eye of one not completely raised in the Truth of the Nexus has granted her an innate sense of critical thinking.

Said to be the 'light' of any rebels, as her status as an Outsider is said to signify the fact that something remains alive outside the link -- despite questioning the title due to her hazy memories, she takes it in stride, as she turns her back on the normals of the world.

Even knowing that the Nexus in its current state runs perfectly -- beyond the cloth, she feels something disastrous is to occur. The fear of invoking chaos runs through her bones, as her faint recollections of her homeland implied little good for a leaderless collective -- yet, deep inside, she knows that this cannot continue the way it has.

Despite their tiny forces -- something must be done.
