The Light Master

______ Branch has been trying to find Canopus ever since he was kicked out of the clan. He felt like it was his fault, because he wanted to take the relationship public, and that's what got Canopus kicked out. Then one day, he saw a trail of fireflies, blinking and sparkling, leading him towards these massive lush woods. He flew toward them, hoping they would lead him away from his guilt and shame and unaccepting clan. What he found instead, was something so much better. He found his home, and more importantly, his lover.

______ When Branch learned he could be himself here, with his boyfriend, he joined immediately. He was able to use his powers to ball up light and control fireflies to bring beautiful light to the clan. He had never been so happy, sitting around a campfire with the clan, his and Canopus's tails intertwined. Fireflies were dancing in the sky, Nyx singing a warm tune, Terran and Feir dancing and twirling in the sky. That was when he knew, he was home.
