On the ground, Manfred is known for his calm, calculating nature and his mastery of the art of hunting. In the air, however, is where he really shines: he's an extremely talented flyer whose aerial maneuvers attract all kinds of dragons who want to see him fly. He does all manner of complex tricks, pulling each one off flawlessly, and his shows are truly a spectacle for dragons of all ages.

Manfred's flight skills are exceptional for a mirror dragon, but he wasn't born with them. In fact, he was a particularly weak flier as a hatchling and only achieved his talents through tireless practice. His initial goal, sparked by a family outing to attend a race between some of Sornieth's fastest flyers, was to become a professional racer, but he was turned away from every competition he tried to enter, as despite his great determination he simply wasn't up to par with the professionals. He eventually decided to become a stunt flier instead, and after meeting Baron, high-speed ace of the allied Bloodrot Clan, he found a flight trainer in the powerful Banescale. They fly together often, and although Manfred isn't quite as fast as Baron, he's quite a bit more agile. After all, who said mirrors can't fly well enough for that?
