 History
Eternis is always getting teased about spending more time with familiars than he does with other dragons. Perhaps that is true. but why be ashamed of it? Any dragon can take on a familiar, but few bother to try and truly understand the many living things beyond dragonkind. It's actually very deep when you think about it that way. No, it's definitely not because he's bad at socializing with dragons. Get out of my den, mom!

 Role
Eternis is the Professor of Zoology at Lumiversity, so a lot of the work that goes into caring for the familiars living there falls to him. Sometimes it’s like caring for a pet, but other times it’s more of an equal partnership with fully sapient beings. The more intelligent familiars have so many stories to share. And so many of them are about seeing land and lives lost to conquering dragons...
Getting to know more about beasts has been easy, but deciding what to do with that knowledge has been harder. Eternis has started having a lot of questions about the beastclans and how dragons have been treating them. The kinds of questions that wouldn't be well received coming from a social outcast like him, especially one whose sister is the glue keeping Lumiversity's faith together. There may come a day when Eternis will have to choose between kin and morality, and he isn't sure what to do if and when that day comes.
