Ryu was the first new member of Skye and Sun's lair. Originally from Lightning flight, she'd taken to exploring the realm of Sornieth before taking a liking to Skye. It was Ryu who first introduced the shy fae to the Coliseum. While Ryu's combat skills were well-honed from her time wandering, Skye's magic was not so. Together, they trekked through every venue of the Coliseum, each becoming powerful warriors in their own right. Now, they help train young Kites looking to serve the Windsinger.

True to her Lightning roots, Ryu loves tinkering with and building things. She built most of her steampunk outfit all on her own while travelling and occasionally graces the lair with her finished creations (assuming they work). While she loves inventing for the sake of it, getting to make her dearest Skye laugh with some silly malfunction makes it even more worthwhile!
