Caedmon

Though his father is a relatively normal Goaler (though not brought up in traditional Goaler society), Caedmon's mother is the child of a Shade-being. His father's free mind has given Caedmon a certain latitude. The Shade is not so in control of him as it is in his mother, but it is there. Despite his bright colors, he takes after his mother very much. He is more at home with the undead that his mother raises than with the living (though he lacks the ability to raise the undead himself), and he likes to tempt others to Shade-aligned activities.

Though his mother has shown no interest in having a group to help her, Caedmon is working on recruiting a cult of living dragons to follow her. He may not be comfortable with the living, but he can see they have their uses. After all, if his mother shunned all living life, where then would he be?

His sister is more malleable than he, and listens to him closely; he has sent her out into the world to find recruits for his cult. His mate, he found in the world. She is a twisted specimen of her kind. Though not Shaded as his mother is, she is cruel and fae.
