Tango

Tango is the former crew member of a marvelous hot air ship. The most common question asked of him was: "Why did a dragon need an air ship?"

After all, most dragons had a usable pair of wings that took them great lengths of the continents, but the simple fact of the matter was nothing beat the thrill of soaring through the high speed currents of the wind without having to worry about tiring muscles or wind pressure. Working with the other dragons on board to keep everything a float, the lifelong bonds you made with your crew mates, that’s where the true rewards were.

That's what the answer Tango would have given. High spirits and a spirit full of wanderlust, every journey was fraught with danger and excitement that intermingled into one joyous occasion for him. Flying that ship was his purpose!

Or at least.. it had been.

It was rare flights worked together on a project. Take Lightning's technology and Wind's ingenuity and you have a recipe for marvellous machines, he'd always say. However when maintenance came into question, a fight of ownership broke out. Did Wind own it -- or did Lightning?

He didn't care much about that, just the fact he was now landlocked and his crew mates all returned to some kind of home they had somewhere in Sorneith. But Tango was young and didn’t quite have a home to return to. Luckily for him he was spotted quickly in a coast side market place, the lost looking Banescale stood out in the crowd. Natutica offered him a resting place in her clan until he could find a new home. That night turned into a week and week into a month and soon enough him and Nautica were living happily together as mates.

Of course nothing could pin down his spirits for the fresh air. Luckily Nauticas been teaching Tango a new way to get wind in his wings without doing any of the work, sailing! The pair gets out as often as they can, racing the waves and getting sprayed with salt water.
