Biography
All newcomers were told the same thing when they joined the clan.
Stay away from Grudge.
He was a dragon not to be crossed.
Angry red eyes, the sign of a true Plague dragon, peered from a large bleached birdskull.
He was wrapped from head to tail in dark green bandages and was decorated with birdskulls.
It was a rather intimidating appearance, he knew, but Grudge did not care about what the others thought of him, but as long as they left him to do his rituals, he was perfectly fine.
A young dragon had once mistaken his precise movements and patient manner for weakness.
He was half-dead by the time Grudge was done with him.
Some of the clan were afraid of him, of this fact he was aware.
But he quite liked it here, in the stinking wasteland that was the Plaguebringer's domain.
His rituals and charms worked best when he carried them out in the Wyrmwound, and there were plenty of specimens to find in the Abiding Boneyard.
And Grudge could, well, hold a grudge.
Any dragon who had insulted or challenged him would find themselves in a plethora of extremely unpleasant and just plain unlucky situations.
It wasn't a surprise that even the clan leaders were wary of him.
A dragon that spoke to spirits and seemed to know everything would be hard pressed to find a home that would take him in.
Yet Grudge found that he didn't mind it in the clan.
Sure, a few of the dragons were rude and insolent and just plain annoying, but he could tolerate them.
And he could always make them leave, if it came to that.
His control over the spirits of the afterlife was powerful, that much was certain.
And Grudge knew that they could, if he wished it, bring down hell on any dragon who dared to cross him.
Plaguebringer help the dragon who dared to do so.
