He may be tiny, but his love for events and festivals is as grand as his co-planner Machiko's size! Machiko needed a little help planning events, sometimes multiple ones, every one and getting everything set up and then hosting. So, when Lanntair joined their flight and expressed his love of events, festivals, and art, it was a natural fit! While he can't help as much with decorating, physically, his physical illusions actually cuts down on a heck ton of work and he can maintain them easily!

Though, he'll be able to do more later in life. He's barely a few full moons old after all! It was barely that many moons that Veilspun revealed themselves to the world! As such, being an ancient breed, he naturally gravitates to the other ancient breeds, but he is new to the world and doesn't carry the prejudice that other, older, Veilspun might hold. His mother and father were open minded about integrating with the new kin on the block and moved off to the ice flight.

Lanntair happened to be born just before one of their winter festivals and got his first taste of festivals shortly after! He also quickly gravitated towards art and could see the beauty in every little snowflake and the warm swaying of a fire. Yet, ice, while beautiful, can also be a bit... Bland. He craved more stimulation! More natural beauty! It was during a conversation with his parents that they told him of the wider world outside of ice and snow!

He was immediately entranced and longed to go! Fortunately, he'd just reached maturity and his parents felt it was ok for him to venture out, suggesting he find the grand central auction house! A place where dragons could wait, safely, and be bought into clans/kingdoms/etc. That might sound bad on the surface, but the auction house provided safe, clean, comfortable places to live till bought and then only a small tax was taken off to accommodate lodging. Most of the treasure went back to the place they came from. And this way, a dragon could be invited into a clan/kingdom/etc rather then trying to hope to find one and get invited into it... Which could be dangerous...

Well, upon hearing a new ancient breed had revealed themselves, Kaliosa wasted little time in going to the auction house! The other ancient breeds in her flight were eager to meet a new ancient breed, too! It would strap them for treasure for a bit, but everyone in the clan agreed it would be nice to have a new member of the family!

Lanntair's appearance is what caught Kaliosa's eye, but his personality is what made her decide he'd fit right in! He naturally made friends with all the ancient breeds, first, but he then immediately gravitated to Machiko and Donatello! He's best of friends with them and would use every ounce of magic he had to protect them, if need be!
