Fay ~ Mage Practitioner
An assortment of tools and equipment lay before her on an altar spread across a wooden tabletop. While Fay couldn’t practice it very well, magical arts like witchcraft and black magic had always fascinated her. Inspired by other dragons indulgent in the craft, she took the time to create her own altar, scattered with crumpled leaves and wilting flowers gathered from the Gladeveins. One by one, she accumulated more items. A goblet full of moon water, a sprinkle of lavender, two sticks of incense, one candle and an assortment of shells atop crudely made tarot cards. Despite lacking the glory her mind had bestowed on the image of her own altar, excitement clouded the doubt. Two weeks ago she’d been traversing the Shadow territory to expand her knowledge, learning from various practitioners of the dark arts and she’d finally combined it with her own imagination. Several days ago she’d spent hours cooped up in her den, stewing over a bubbling cauldron away from prying eyes. Today her plan was to bless her concoction - to bestow it with more power. Though she was apprehensive - her previous attempts all ending in failure - Fay’s curiosity drove her to try time and time again. One day something will click. One day it will work. One day...

Inspired by an unparalleled mage she met during a convergence of clans, Fay decided to take up witchcraft for herself, trying and failing many times over. However, despite her lack of practical success in major projects she undertakes, Fay’s mind has become a treasure trove of knowledge ready for the taking, resulting in her being a well-known consultant among her clan members. Much to her delight, the small Veilspun dragon has managed to create and perfect several small potions but unfortunately has yet to succeed with anything of a larger scale. Fay makes a small profit off selling prank potions and tarot card readings - some people, she suspects, only buy from her out of amusement.

After many times of trying and failing to make many many different potions and spells Fay finally hit something, a love potion. She found out what it was by testing it (as she always does) on two of the many mice and rats that run around the clan and observing them. Thirty minutes after giving it to them they started cuddling. Now this was usual for mice but it was enough to get her hypothesis as Fay was very hopeful in general. The next day she tested it on a mouse and an unfortunate stray cat that happened to be walking around in the back alley when Fay was looking for more mice. After feeding them both the serum she sat down at her desk to study, but was careful to keep an eye on the two creatures as she found for the first few minutes the cat would try to attack the poor little mouse reputedly, but as time grew on and Fay's eyes were starting to droop she heard a loud purr from the corner of the room. This sound was enough to wake her and was shocked that when she looked over to investigate that the cat and the mouse were cuddling just as the two mice had the day before!
