"Representative of the Shadows, Anthos, please listen."
The voice echoes throughout the midnight forest, calling on the inky shadows to approach. I pause, ever so slightly, yet I do not look backward. The calling of my name sounds strange on others' tongues, Indeed, it is why I abhor the taste of my name.
"Speak." In sync with the twirling winds, I speak, the ribbons of my attire gliding softly.
"I have a --"
Yet I know what they will say, it's my ability, of course, to predict the words or the mind of anyone beside me. And it's my justice, to bring shadows to the light. The hanging eye on my left wing shines brightly yellow, and the words spin in my mind, and every little consequence.
"It is not for you to do. You do not harm the newcomer." I call my final words upon the dragon. "If you do so, go off and disregard my words, shadow will be lost under the scorching rays of the sun."
"Anthos, if we let him come---"
"If you do not, you will lose a final battle Hiko." The wind sighs, representing my emotions. "I understand your emotions and your pledge to the shadows, but today, I think otherwise."
And it's a chaotic silence.
"Otherwise?"
"Indeed."
"Then- Then I'll listen to your words."
