Biography

Kayhen was having a nice day. His trip to the Crossroads had proven more than worthwhile, and now he was just excited to get back to his lair and sort out his new treasure.

All of his relaxing twilight plans were sorta thrown out the window when another dragon slammed into him, sending him sprawling onto his back. Claws forced themselves onto his chest, a dragon about his size pinning him down with their weight. Wings flapped and they roared, casting back their head at an angle that let Kayhen finally recognize his attacker.

Romeo.

Well, that wasn't great. The Banescale was much stronger than him, and Fire burned beneath her scales. On the other claw, her movement was pretty limited in the underground lair, and even if the fight was taken topside, Kayhen could easily hide amidst the brambles from Romeo's aerial rage.

For now, he relaxed. "Now, now, Romeo, this isn't how you're meant to greet your clan leader, is it?"

"Where is she?"

"Oh, don't play the pronoun game with me--"

"Juliet!" Romeo's wings flared in agitation. "Where's Juliet? You told me she'd be here, so I came with you." Her head shot down, pressing dangerously close to Kayhen's, considering the little flames escaping her nostrils.

"Ah, of course. Juliet." Kayhen still had literally never interacted with that girl. All he knew was that she was Romeo's mate, a fascinatingly green Gaoler, and more than likely affiliated with Cenobia's pitiful excuse for a clan. "I never said she'd be here. I just said I would help you find her."

"And?"

"Well, if you'll get off me, I'll tell you what I know."

Romeo thought about it for far too long before finally stepping off Kayhen's chest. The Mirror took in a sharp breath, coughing a little as he flipped back onto his feet. He sat up, smoothed down his coat, and refolded his wings. "Now. Let's have a civil discussion."
