► Personality
Something of an oddity for a tundra, Conan actually proves himself to be quite the intellect. He's very gentle, and very generous with what little material goods he has, as well as what little knowledge he is able to recall at any given time. When someone manages to give him and his quiet, forgetful nature the patience it needs, he eventually tries to repay them via providing a service - be it mending a wound, transporting objects or transcribing a book for them. Despite being an obligate herbivore, Conan can be seen partaking in non-veggie options from time to time, due to the company he hangs around being largely disinterested with plant matter.
► History
Conan came from a mixed-species clan, one that managed to attract a snapper's interest long enough that, for a while, she opted to stay. He loved listening to her, but soon became irate that he couldn't seem to recall the finer details of her stories. This little pet peeve grew and wore on him until he finally decided to pick up pen and paper as an adolescent, determined to write down everything he knew and thus, never completely forget. As a young adult, he reluctantly packed up his things and left his clan, feeling out of place and finding himself wanting to write more than just old memories. During his self-discovery journey, he found himself rooming with a rather stoic, intimidating guardian - first for protection, but soon for companionship as well. They get along absurdly well and Conan, feeling like he doesn't have a whole lot to go back to, has decided he would follow this dragon to the ends of the earth.

During his travels, before he met Arkhieny, he picked up a familiar in the form of a floracat - it tends to be rather independent, but always finds itself coming back to Conan for the company and warmth during the colder times of the year. His non-olfactory memory was pretty average for a tundra throughout his childhood, but with some mental training and exercises during his adolescent years, he can actually manage to recall names and faces, along with a handful of personality quirks of those he hasn't seen in many, many seasons. While his flight affiliation is lightning, but he actually tends to show no clear quirks in the way of engineering - though it may be what drives his desire to learn and expand. His glasses aren't for show - he actually needs them to see (and because of this, he doesn't tend to fly all that often). |
