Oxalis doesn't say much to others unless they need help with their familiars. He prefers familiars over the company of other dragons.
He's comfortable being around his mate and close friends, but he'll sometimes hide away somewhere to recharge with his familiars.

History
Oxalis had been wandering as long as he can remember, never staying in one place for long. While wandering he would find many familiars that he would keep as his own, he never cared for the company of dragons, his familiars were all the company he needed. He was happy being on his own with only his family, or so he thought…
Oxalis was wandering in the wastelands when his eyes caught a glimpse of something moving quickly out of the corner of his eye, his curiosity caused him to attempt to follow whatever he saw, thinking it could possibly be a new familiar friend. Once he finally caught up with it, he saw that it wasn’t a familiar he had been chasing, it was a dragon. Usually he’d scoff and leave before the dragon could even notice he was there, but the more he watched the dragon the more he felt like he wanted to be seen by them. Just by watching them he learned that the dragon had a fascination with shiny objects, He quickly looked through his bag to see if he had anything he could possibly use to befriend them. He finds a Ruby Brooch at the bottom of his bag, he takes one more look at the dragon before taking a deep breath and approaching. Oxalis made sure to keep some distance between him and the dragon, handing the Ruby Brooch to them the dragon hesitantly took it. The dragon he met was named Aseroe, she belonged to a clan that was settled not too far away. Oxalis felt his face light up as he got to know this new friend of his, and he had felt something else begin to blossom in him.
Oxalis had attempted to join Aseroe’s clan for a few months after meeting her, their relationship turned from a friendship to a more romantic interest. They came up with the plan to get Oxalis to join the clan so that they could officially become mates. Aseroe’s clan saw romantic relationships outside of the clan as a major taboo, and sadly the two were found out. Oxalis barely got away after the clan leader Rafflesia nearly killed him.
Oxalis never saw Aseroe again, he continued to wander in the wastelands alone, only this time heart broken. Years passed and Oxalis found another dragon, Lavandula, his current mate. He went on to start a small family of his own, letting them love who they want without judgement. But he always made sure to let them know that if they hear that a dragon is from “The Clan of Mycelium Pestilence.” to stay away at all costs, because It was for everyone's safety…
