Biography

Found the refuge on his own and decided to stay. Former clan probably kicked him out, but he tries to pretend that leaving was entirely 100% his decision. Mad scientist, possibly? Give him an assistant (possibly the ridgeback). Answers to Maraka, who isn’t sure if she likes him or not. He does really like her, though.

People tend to joke about him secretly being a spiral. This confuses him, but the behavioral stuff is actually very similar. Get him talking about his current experiment (or even field of study) and he'll talk for hours.

...on further thought, he's probably autistic.

Biologist w/ limited ability to empathize. He's trying, okay? It's just... not easy for him. The fact that getting a look at living muscle in motion might be incredibly painful for his victim volunteer simply doesn't occur to him until they start screaming or someone else points it out. He isn't out to hurt people, and he's not actively malicious - he just thinks that the biological differences between the breeds are fascinating and wants to learn as much as he can. He's more than competent enough to avoid killing/seriously injuring anyone, too! He's one of the best doctors in the clan.

Now that he has access to healers who can fix the damage he causes (and also nullify pain) he doesn't quite understand why people still have a problem with letting him cut them open? They're not going to be hurt at all, and surely they have a few hours to spare!
Unfortunately for most other dragons, Maraka has been encouraging that point of view.
At least he's too small to kidnap someone?

Surprisingly good friends with the cosmic horror spiral, who is more than happy to allow Seival to poke around their (rather nonsensical) insides in exchange for being told how biology is supposed to work. They ask about cultural stuff too, even though Seival isn't exactly the best dragon to answer those questions.
