s t o r y Long ago, Cruthaitheoir was born, with the name Jebae. On his 10th birthday, his mother died. His father went out to sea as a ship’s captain to earn money, but became lost in the sea. Cruthaitheoir was alone, and he found he liked it that way. He made his way away from Driftwood Drag, traveling all around Sorneith. He learned the languages of the nymphs, and lived in all of the different territories, but even with the difference from his birth territory and this one, he felt most at home at the Mirrorlight Promenade. He made a home there, and soon enough, other dragons began to follow what he was doing, finding inspiration. Before he knew it, Cruthaitheoir was leader of a kingdom. And every good kingdom needs a goo name. And he found the perfect name was what he craved most as a dragonet. Sunshine. So he named his kingdom Sunshine Kingdom. Eventually, he went on to meet the Emperor, and the two became friends, that was, until the Emperor became, well, you know. Cruthaitheoir was devastated by his friend’s odd misfortune, but he had to ignore it, because he had larger matters on his hand, the biggest threat to Sunshine Kingdom, Desc. Desc, amazingly, is Cruthaitheoir‘s elder brother! Cruthaitheoir had never met him before, but they had to connection that siblings do, and were both aggravated by this discovery, so all ignored it. Cruthaitheoir gathered all of his most loyal and strong soldier, and lead them into battle. One of the soldiers were Krak, Strike’s great grandfather. Krak was only 7 years old when he was sent into this battle, and so were some of the other soldiers, even if they were the best. When Desc arrived with his soldiers, Cruthaitheoir met him in the center of the battlefield, talking calmly, until suddenly, his tail twitched, and the soldiers, lead by lil’ Krak, flung themselves into battle, and Cruthaitheoir did the same to Desc, his eye full of rage. The battle yearned on for 3 months, time passing in a whisp, and they only realized how much time had passed because of the season’s change. Finally, Desc called off his soldiers, whom were bleeding and torn, if not on the ground, dead. Cruthaitheoirstood tall in success, even with his many wounds. They had won. 100 years later, Cruthaitheoir started to gain conciseness of his oncoming old age. He didn’t feel like death would be a swell option, and immediately began to search for a way to live on forever. After 2 years of frantically searching books, he found the map to the pool of eternal life. He decided to make an expedition at once. He went only with Krak, now his closest advisor, and soon enough found it. Cruthaitheoir and Krak made it past every booby trap in the area, and finally out the pool of eternal life. Cruthaitheoir found it to be a better idea if he stored the power of the pool in scrolls, where they would be easily accessible. And so that’s what he did, using a scroll on himself and keeping five others. He was eternally youthful. Eventually, he broke the leadership of Sunshine Kingdom up into five categories: Ruler, Healer/Foreseer, Head Mage, General, Head Archer. Along with that, he stepped down as leader, and made Krak the ruler, Hex the Healer/Foreseer, Cotton as the Head Mage, Foam as the General, and Fissure as the Head Archer. Then Cruthaitheoir took a long-needed rest, and is now a storyteller, giving out wisdom to the hatchlings. |
