Biography
Stark Changes
Kaladin, Cutthroat
Kaladin, Cutthroat
Kaladin, the dancing, swordfighting guard of Clan Chervil’s trade routes. This wildclaw can be spotted across the lands of Sornieth, watching the roads with a bored expression while Chervil traders barter and offer goods to other clans and groups.
Once a professional dancer, now a talented killer, Kaladin is a curiosity for many in Clan Chervil. Older members of the Clan recall when Kaladin was a bright, if not somewhat oddball, dancer in the old taverns and inns here. After a time though, and for reasons that many speculate on, Kaladin retreated to the winding catacombs beneath the city. There, they hibernated for many months. When they returned, Kaladin had markedly changed. Gone was the cheery dancer of their youths, and in his place was a much more unnerving figure. The Kaladin of the present wears a sharpened cutlass at their side, and peers at others from behind a whitened skull. They know how to use it, too: reports from the patrons of one particular tavern indicate that Kaladin is as swift with a blade as they once were with a skip.
Since Kaladin's revival, they've taken to venturing out with the trading caravans across Sornieth, acting as guard. It was during one of these trips that they met their partner, Adwen, at the Old Oaks Grove.
