XD3le5t.png 		"The Circus Mages is a traveling circus founded by a powerful mage who kind of toed the line of what was appropriate in magical/academic circles, committed a terrible crime and as a result, was exiled to the foxfire bramble where he was taken in by a performing troupe. Since he was guilt ridden and had sworn off serious magic he decided to join the troupe, doing silly little tricks for coin. Eventually his tiny troup got incredibly popular due to his presence and some of his old students began wanting to join. This is how the circus started. It is cloaked in magic the gates move around and only open at midnight to those in possession of a special magic object. The circus mages live inside the circus, now grown to the size of a small village, and due to their vibrant and highly recognizable colors, which are imprinted onto them by the founder at a special initiation ceremony, only co out into the general public heavily cloaked. They perform magic enhanced circus acts, divination, sell small spells and have a very well stocked menagerie. All of this is above board. Those who decide to delve deeper will find a booming black market and more than a few mages willing to delve in the darker arts." m90YXZd.png

Tom didn't want to leave his old circus, but his best friend Turnip did. At first, Tom thought they could still meet up from time to time or communicate with magic, thinking he was looking to work in a regular circus. Upon realising the nature of the Circling Circus, he had no choice but to follow his friend to ensure his safety. Tom has been working in the black market back in the Mages, specilising in dark spells and less than safe ingredients that would often cause injuries to his customers despite his warnings.
