The Fighter
Somber and powerful, there is no one more intimidating than Beta. He has been roaming the land since he became of age and has been searching for his Charge, only to find it in Alun, the smallest little creature he has ever seen. Only one unfazed by his unnerving presence, she has unknowingly granted Alysia the mosst fervant protector it could find, as Beta would not let anything happen to his beloved Charge. And if it meant defending the clan she took place in, then so be it. Lately, as the clan grew and prospered, the nearby threats ceased to endanger the inhabitants of the Sanctuary, so Beta had a lot more free time on his hands. Which meant either socializing (not an option for this behemoth of a warrior), or training new recruits in case anything happened to him. He chose the later, obviously, and is still confused when the hatchlings cheer him on or aren't as scared of him as his other clanmates. |

The Lover
Used to being feared, and never sure of what to say, he always had a hard time fitting in, especially seing as he's not really the approachable type. Which is why he's so thankfull to Alun, a lot more sociable than he is. He will hover quietly wherever she goes when he's not on duty, helping her carry heavy books, writting down her notes, or whatever she needs. He will gladly help whoever in the clan needs something heavy to carry, and then go back to brood in a corner once the task is done. He has a hard time expressing how emotionnal his clanmates make him, just by accepting his presence in the lair, so he waits for them to come to him. His gentleness with the hatchlings, or really anything smaller than his, is what proved to the others how trustworthy and kind he could be. He can be so patient, so tender with them that people forget how brutal he is on the battlefield. |

Although to be social can be quite a tragedy;
These small fellows judge very carefully;
And love on the gentle tank he is.
Chosen to defend;
Even if lives or his own are to spend;
He will jump in with what he has.
The grumpy dragon fears;
Like all his other peers;
Of what he is able to lose.
Although, his emotions stay true.
