Eotua, nobody says his name right

In a word, Eotua is striking. Long black hair, skin like the moon, and narrow, warm eyes. His nose is long, broad, and takes up much of his face - that is, that of his face not taken up by his prominent cheekbones. He tints his lips a pale pink, and rouges his cheeks, and both suit him very well. A tight bundle of leather sits at his hip - never unrolled -, and he insists that they are art supplies. The fact that nobody has ever seen him do art is not something anyone is willing to pry about.

He wears black everything, to contrast and bring out the silver in his skin, and he has a strong affection for large adornments - his tunic is gathered at the waist by a large, elaborate buckle and his boots, too, are buckled. His ears are pierced, as is his lip - tight, bright silver hoops - and he likes to wear long necklaces from his slender neck. He's thin -a little wasted, not that this detracts from the overall appeal- and he has a cough that he pretends doesn't exist, but which at times makes him double over.

He's perhaps the chattiest and most friendly person in the bar, if an unashamed flirt. He flirts with Roth - who hates it-; he flirts with Ira; he flirts with Morwen; he flirts with Iuna unless Ramsey is nearby; and he greets Fen like an old lover, every time. But beyond that, he is likeable and warm. Perhaps too warm - everyone is his friend: whether they want to be or not. You! You're his friend now.

Were you to ask him what he does for a living, he would shrug.
"A little of this and that, I s'pose. I dabble." would be his go-to response. There's always a casual shrug, and a poke of his elbow into your side, and a hearty laugh. He never quite answers the question. There's never a coin too far from his fingers, though, and always enough for a drink. After a days' work, Fen always comes into the tavern to pay him a visit - Eortua strode into town, straight from the Steppe a few years back, and Fen greeted him as an old friend. The two have been thick as thieves ever since.

His biggest pet peeve - in fact, the only way to really get on his bad side - is to pronounce his name wrong. "Yo-shuh" he will say, firmly. You only get told once.
