art wip v Grey Cursed General Fresh in the minds of everyone in the Reinmacht Empire is the war that ended 2 years ago. It was a horrific war waged by the Kingdom of Eichen, and within four years many lost their lives and homes in the chaos. The Eichen army was helmed by a young but fearsome man known as General Grey. The people of Eichen value strength and power above all else, enabling a poor orphan like him to claw the ranks. At only 20 years old, Grey made a name for himself serving as the Kings' right hand. Grey was adored by the people of his Kingdom and hailed a war hero. But his name alone struck fear in the hearts of the people of the Empire, for his reputation as a ruthless leader was no mere rumor. A tall man of muscle and raw power, he shattered the ranks of all troops who dared oppose his march. But a week before the final assault on the capital of the Empire he suddenly vanished without a trace. Many assumed he fell to a successful assassination or in battle. Grey had not fallen. Serena, the wife of the Prime Minister of Eichen, payed him a secret visit the night of his disappearance. She pleaded that he cease the march - that they both advocate for an end to the bloodshed. He merely laughed in her face and shoved her aside, making it a few steps before collapsing to the ground. Serena's heart was pure and she never dared harm another soul. Finding the good hidden in his heart, she laid a curse on him. Grey's imposing frame was shrunk down, stripping him of his physical strength and magical power. Without his strength the invasion failed and the war finally ended. A humiliated Grey fled the Kingdom.
