Sonatina

It was strange to encounter a nature dragon within the plague territory, especially a primal one and yet, here you both were. The guardian eyes you curiously, almost condensing before speaking. "Stop gawking at me, I doubt I'm the strangest thing to see around here", she scoffs, waving her tail at you dismissively.

There's hardly any time to speak back before the ground beneath you shakes, almost knocking you from your feet. The ground splits open just as suddenly as it first shook and you begin to fall into the depths and in your panic and the suddenness of everything you forget that you can fly. You only fall a dozen or so feet before you suddenly find yourself caught in a net of roots. You do not stop to think about it before spreading your wings and hurrying out of the hole.

The nameless primal dragon has already turned to leave, seemingly distracted by whatever caused the tremor in the first place. You notice that she has left behind two sacks. You had seen them hang from her hips before and you know there was no way they had just dropped off without the guardian noticing. Were- were they for you?

You're faced with a choice, do you follow after the guardian and ask her about the tremors, or perhaps thank her for presumably rescuing you, do you pick the old, brown sack that has been left behind and continue on your journey or do you pick the perfectly clean, but pitch black linen pouch instead.
