» Bryophyte; a small flowerless green plant of the division Bryophyta, comprised mostly of mosses and liverworts.

Born in the Wandering Contagion, he made his pilgrimage to the wyrmwound as a young adult, and was told his calling was deep in enemy territory, the Pox Consulate. He made his way there, condeming himself to be a warrior of the rot.

When the battle ended, and the Pox Consulate began to overgrow, Bryophyte remained. Despite his love for his people, his love for this quiet life in the forest far outweighed his love for the loud, chaotic life deep within the Contagion.

His clan abandoned him, thinking him to a be a traitor. He cares deeply for his culture, but something about nature keeps him there.
