Soft seas
At the end of the earth,
past dirt, sands, and snow
a soft breeze glides gently
over lapping waves below
The ocean swallows sound
creating a silence some would find eerie
but here, one small dragon perches
peaceful and cheery
the salty spray of the waters
blooms of algae and grains of sand
call to this young dragon
and they heed nature's command

Passage through Soliton City

Thus had he landed on the Arcane shore
For city lights had drawn him to their glow.
And long upon the wing; some weeks before,
his quest turned cause for him to home forgo.

And so, the glitt'ring waves had caught his eye-
'twas here, he thought, that he should find his rest
before, again, to untold lands he'd fly;
-but now, he settled under arcane's crest.

The nights under the stars there spent, so sweet;
for here, though city glow did fill the air
the fiery points would never be discrete,
and even night was lighted with their flair.

Perhaps, forever more, he might have stayed--
but he recalled his quest from whence he'd strayed.
