Geb

Earth Flight Representative/Miner

"Yodelaeee hoooo."

Geb grew up in a mine, learning the art of the trade. How the rocks sounded when being struck, how it differed slightly with the quality. While his experience as a youth was with precious gems, Geb found he felt more of an affinity for metal ores. His wanderings took him to the outskirts of a large clan in the Lightweaver's Realm where he found a large source of rare white gold. Settling down, he had soon built a small mine, hiding the location.

Although not afraid of anyone stealing his ore, Geb is tightlipped about where his mine is located so as to prevent anyone from ruining his work. Geb doesn't care about the value of his mine's contents but more about any potential amateurs messing up his work. There are no dragons currently in the Hotaru Clan that Geb would trust with helping him, although he does reluctantly admit that Hukaksu's power of controlling sand does come in handy to move materials further away from his mine entrance. The other cares little about mining and other such mundane tasks so Geb occasionally will ask for his help to hide the dregs from the mine.

While most of Geb's money is made selling his ore outside of the clan, he has a business relationship with Arwen. The coatl purchases his gold to make special jewelry, usually her joint pieces with Chalcedony. Some of her other signature pieces are also made using the metal, though, although Geb has never cared about why. He does tend to save his best pieces to sell to her, though.

Outside of mining, Geb enjoys singing, although he tends to be so off key than many who hear him start to wish they were deaf. His 'singing' mostly consists of humming, so at least it is often too quiet for others to hear. Geb enjoys silence and solitude, which means he often goes off on his own. Although Geb would count it more as part of his work as opposed to a hobby, he is good a spelunking. He enjoys the activity, provided he can do it alone. Slow and methodical, Geb's rope and piton handling techniques are stellar and he has never had any significant troubles while underground.

i am so sorry if any part of this sounds disjointed. i love your lair quite a bit and you have so much well-written lore. i want to write as much lore as that someday; that's genuinely a lot of dedication and i admire you for it. ah well. i'll get there! 2BDamned
