Sunglitter

Sunglitter grew up in a fallen colony, which refused to die. The colony grew too massive to stay in the large tree it was originally created in, so it tumbled to the forest floor. Instead of leaving for a new colony, most of the inhabitants stayed on the forest floor, choosing to fight whatever attacked them down there. Sunglitter became a healer for the colony and tended to the wounds of those who were injured in battle. When the danger grew too high to stay on the ground, she and a few others were tasked with scouting ahead and finding a new spot to call home. As one of the few able bodied Fae left, she agreed and went out searching near the shore of the Lightning Biome. She found a strange egg there, which she assumed was a water egg and noticed that no parents were present. She waited until she was sure there were no parents left to protect it, and took it to care for it herself. Sunglitter knew the failing colony wouldn't accept a healer looking after an outsider's egg, so she let the colony believe she was dead. She wound up at a starting colony which welcomed her and the egg she claimed to be hers inside. She figured this was the best place for her, and took up her old Healer occupation. When the egg hatched she named him Hydrokinesis and raised him like her own. When he reached adulthood she told him the truth about his history and was utterly heartbroken to learn he'd run away in the night. She wept for a few weeks, hoping he was alright without knowing he'd found a place with an Imperial's group. During that time she had flown out many times to see if she could find him, though to no avail. A few days later she was taking a walk through the woods when she saw him fishing and catching bugs. She followed him back to a group that smiled and congratulated him when he came back. She left feeling satisfied that he was alright and that he'd found a new "colony". She told herself they would find each other again one day, but that he should be the one to seek her out. Sunglitter then focused all her resources on helping Windwing's colony, but a little part of her mind still hoped Hydrokinesis would see her again some day. Maybe she would seek him out and join that group too...
