Kiya is an unassuming dragon: soft and dull of colour, she is often overlooked in a room of many other dragons with glossier scales and brighter shades. However, In her shop, the colour of her creations do not seem to reflect her personality. Bright, bold shades of colour would pop from the fabrics she created, a clash of colours that appear a little too daring at first glance, but would complement the dragon wearing it beautifully, showing off their best assets while making a statement themselves. In this clan in particular, the kind hearted Kiya made sure that everyone had sufficient clothing to choose from. While her clothing would sell for heaps of gems outside the clan, Kiya considered her clanmates her family, and dedicated her craft to helping the clan out in whatever way she could. Her gentle demeanor and her ability to come up with the most marvelous of apparels made her quite popular in the clan (even if the attention made her tuck her face in her claws sometimes, out of embarrassment). As the Seamstress of the clan, the dedicated dragon could be found in her little tailoring store most of the time, hard at work on one creation or the other. In the rare moments where she isn't engaged in her craft, she would be browsing books at the library: either reading up on new dyeing techniques, or a book reccomended by her mate, Mizune. She is often accompanied by a dragon or two: dragons really enjoy the calm, accepting company of Kiya. MATE: MIZUNE With both dragons being so shy, it was almost a miracle that the two finally managed to express their love for the other. What begun as a reading activity together in the library between friends slowly evolved to a painfully slow exchange of love sick gazes and blushing, before Vic and Diana intervened. While both of them are immensely busy with their responsibilities, the two can often be seen at the library together in their spare time, their claws happily entangled together as they enjoyed their books and cups of tea. | . |

A master of dyes and inks, Kiya is fascinated with colors. She uses only natural elements to create her dyes and loves experimenting with new recipes. Most well-known for creating fantastic rainbow-colored silks, dragons across Sornieth will pay top dollar for apparel dyed by her skillful claws. Likewise, artists shell out their life savings for a bottle of her unique inks, each much more than they seem. She’s developed inks that can only be seen in certain temperatures or lighting conditions, and ink that seems to move on the page, almost as if it were alive. Dragons with even more treasure to spend can commission a custom creation. Kiya takes great pride in her work and her clientele. She never leaves a customer unsatisfied, and indeed, anyone who purchases one of her creations finds themself coming back for more.
