Melephos was the first dragon to ascend after finding his path and following it to the end. He was a kind, yet fierce, clan leader. He was deeply loved by all members, with Providence always at his side spreading the word and knowledge of the path. Melephos was the only other dragon to know of and see Fortune, being the discoverer of the divining koi.

After ascending he was given the new name Melephos, named after Meleph, a binary star system and the brightest member of the Beehive Cluster in the Cancer zodiac constellation.
