» About Rosetta is the small, bold, motherly leader of the Oasis. The Oasis is a secluded section of the Ashfall Wastes that borders the beaches of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, so it is able to house many more than just Fire dragons. It acts like a hotel or safehouse for lost and injured dragons who just can't make their way home. If they so desire, they can stay and live out their lives here fulfilling a role designated by Rosetta. She went a good deal managing the Oasis between her and her husband Boz, but when more and more nocturnal dragons began to show up, Rosetta and Boz couldn't keep up with their schedules. The exhaustion that ensued from staying up all night for days on end forced Rosetta to create a nocturnal sector of the Oasis, of which she named the Shadowborne. The Shadowborne would oversee all nocturnal guests and those who need time to hide. Rosetta also manages the diplomatic relations between her clan and the clans that surround her. Each affiliated clan will send an ambassador to live at the Oasis, and vice versa, in order to learn more about the other's lairs. The ambassadors are free to come and go between their clans as they please, but will always live at their designated lairs. |

» More Info When Rosetta isn't focused on running the Oasis, her and Boz manage the gardens that bloom lavishly around its borders. The nutrients in the ash from the Ashfall Wastes proves to be a fantastic fertilizer, and with a little care, they manage to grow a lot of their own foods to provide for herbivore and insectivore dragons. Rosetta grows her own tea, which she always has on hand (or on wing) to serve to new dragons or old friends. |
