Across Sornieth, there are a variety of tales of grieving dragons weeping into fresh water. Some cry for loss, some for unrequited love, and some in fear of what’s to come. Sometimes, as the tears of these dragons mix with the energies of the Tidelord and Gladekeeper, a highly intuitive dragon attuned to the emotions of such poor souls is born. The dragons resemble the water lilies that might grow atop such pools, and tend to hide amongst them while observing a grieving dragon.

Highly empathetic creatures, these delicate beings spend their lives assisting those who are struggling by whispering encouraging words, casting small spells to cheer, or sometimes even secreting chemicals to improve mood or calm the frightened. Due to their giving nature, they tend to be secretive, only appearing to those who need them most.

Escarboucle – Pink & Bubblegum
For dragons who suffered a hard end to a relationship, there are the Escarboucle. They gently encourage dragons to accept such situations, and realize that there are potentially far better things ahead. Their secretions encourage a dragon to bond with others, to better weather the emptiness left by lost love, and they are by far the most talkative lily subtype.
